An exciting program to accomplish two goals:  increase blood donations and give our loyal donors the special recognition they deserve.

 

An outstanding group of American Red Cross blood and platelet donors who commit to a specific number of donations in 2008.

By early February 2009, the American Red Cross will send those donors who met their 2008 commitment a thank-you card, a commemorative t-shirt, and a 2008 VIP LifeSaver lapel pin. Gold VIP LifeSaver donors will also receive a special commemorative gift.

American Red Cross VIP LifeSaver Yearly Levels:
(donors may participate in both programs)

Blood
Gold:  5 to 6 donations
Silver:  3 to 4 donations

Apheresis (platelet)
Gold:  8+ donations
Silver:  4 to 7 donations

 

• By Print/Mail:	Return a commitment card at their blood drive or donor center or by mail.
• Online:	Fill out a form online!
• By Phone:	Call the Red Cross at 1-800-GIVE-LIFE to enroll by phone.

After donors commit to become VIP LifeSavers, the American Red Cross adds them to a master tracking system. VIP Donors may then give at any American Red Cross Southeast Division donor center or bloodmobile and know that all their donations will be recorded for the program.
