Bloodstock Scholarship Drawing Application*
Winter Period: December 15, 2007 to January 15, 2009
Summer Period: May 1, 2008 to August 31, 2008

Drive Dates: Drives will be held between December 15, 2007 and January 15, 2008 — or — May 1, 2008 and August 31, 2008
Qualifications
Student must plan and organize a blood drive that collects a minimum of 50 units of blood ($2,000 scholarship) or a drive that collects a minimum of 35 units of blood ($1,000 scholarship) from volunteer donors.
Payment
Scholarship check will be addressed to College/University the student is attending, not to the individual.
Other Criterion Includes:
$2,000 Scholarship
This is a drawing for student volunteers who plan and organize a blood drive between May 1 and August 31, 2008 that collects a minimum of 50 units of blood from volunteer donors. The winner will be drawn from those applicants that meet the $2,000 criteria.
$2,000 Scholarship Criterion
1. Find a blood drive location with the help of your American Red Cross Account Manager.
2. Attend face-to-face planning meeting(s) with your American Red Cross Account Manager.
3. Recruit and schedule at least 65 blood donors from friends, family and potential past donor lists supplied by the
American Red Cross. Help recruit volunteers to assist at the blood drive (greeters, canteen).
4. Be at the blood drive for the entire drive.
This is a drawing for student volunteers who plan and organize a blood drive between May 1 and August 31, 2008 that collects a minimum of 50 units of blood from volunteer donors. The winner will be drawn from those applicants that meet the $2,000 criteria.

(Note: If 50 or more units are collected during the summer period, the student volunteers qualify for the $2,000 scholarship drawing). The winner will be drawn from those applicants that meet the $1,000 criteria.
