Penn-Jersey Blood Services Region

December 30, 2013

When it comes to saving lives, Eagles fans know the play!

More than 630 Volunteer blood donors came to Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday, December 28, for the 6th Annual Philadelphia Eagles Blood Drive.  Organized by the American Red Cross and the Eagles, the massive blood drive began at 7:00 a.m. and continued non-stop until 1:00 p.m.

All presenting blood donors received a limited edition Eagles Hat; six lucky donors were randomly selected to win a pair of Eagles tickets to the 2014 Season Home Opener and much, much more!

To date, fans have donated approximately 4,640 units of blood at Eagles Blood Drives – providing a second chance for almost 14,000 hospital patients across the Region.
